The Massachusetts Apartment Association has named Larry Goodwin as its 2022 Apartment Maintenance Supervisor of the Year.
Goodwin, now retired, served in a maintenance capacity at the 406-unit Norwest Woods apartment community in Norwood for 40 years. Over the course of his career, he gained master-level knowledge of the mechanical, plumbing, electrical, carpentry and appliance repair fields. He also trained and mentored countless technicians over the years. He held Certified Apartment Maintenance Technician and OSHA certifications.
“Larry Goodwin’s job performance over the 40 years he lived and worked at our property is nothing short of remarkable,” states Norwest Woods Regional Property Manager Donna Coccia. “He is a master at his profession and is able to make repairs, handle emergencies, mentor staff and relate to residents with the highest degree of poise and professionalism.”
