Martin L. Schoolcraft, a Service Manager for Waterfall Hills in Canton, was selected by the Rental Housing Association (RHA) as Maintenance Manager of the Year.
The RHA’s Professional Achievement Awards recognize excellence in a range of rental property categories. Commitment to service is always instrumental when choosing a recipient.
“Martin is dependable, he’s always there when the property needs him,” said Sandy Gudiel, Property Manager at Waterfall Hills. “He comes to work prepared for whatever challenges the day brings. Martin is able to solve problems quickly, manage costs, and effectively supervise and mentor his maintenance team.”
Mr. Schoolcraft joined CHR in 2008. He oversees a community of 243 units, a staff of up to five maintenance technicians, and communicates daily with contractors and property management. During his time with CHR he’s received multiple awards including: CHR Maintenance Team Professional Appearance Award in 2011 and 2013 as well as CHR Maintenance Excellent Customer Service Award 2013. Martin is also a Certified Apartment Maintenance Technician (CAMT), a course offered by the Rental Housing Association (RHA) and National Apartment Association (NAA). In addition to being CAMT certified, Martin has completed training programs with the EPA, CPO and OSHA.
