The Massachusetts Association of Landscape Professionals (MALP) has named Chestnut Hill Realty's Tim Dolan, Director of Horticulture, the recipient of its 2024 Beacon Award. The award is the association’s highest honor, bestowed on a person whose actions serve to guide and inspire others in the landscape contracting profession.
Since joining CHR in 1996, Tim has been instrumental in building an award-winning horticulture team. Under his leadership, CHR's landscapes have been recognized numerous times, including winning a National Landscape Award of Excellence and 35 landscape awards from the Institute of Real Estate Management/Boston Chapter.
Tim credits his success in the profession to the encouragement and guidance he received from CHR Founder and CEO Ed Zuker and to the leadership and team building skills he learned from mentors at CHR.
“I am truly honored and humbled to be recognized by my peers,” said Dolan. “It’s an incredible feeling knowing I have had so much respect and influence in the industry.”
Tim is a strong advocate for the landscape profession and is actively involved in the MALP and its educational programs to train those building their careers in the field. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Ornamental Horticulture from the University of Maine (Orono) and is a Certified Arborist and Massachusetts Certified Horticulturist.
